Not so very long ago there lived 6 million poloska (bedbugs) in the 8th district, not only in the Vajdahunyad homeless shelter, but at least 60 in Zsuzsi’s flat, and as they spread they turned the hotels of New York into their main baracks.
A shadow government reigns supreme. Thanks to the blanket CCTV control of public space the bedbugs are now bathed in sunlight. But the listeners are not aware that they too are being listened to.
The final solution of the bedbug problem has begun. HoCsi has cleansed the Vajdahunyad Castle shelter using Chlorine gas, and www.poloskaterkep.hu has publisized their whereabouts. >>Out of the dark – into the light >>

The Pap Family Besets Leipzig – PAPLAMENT III.

The Pap family is a nomadic tribe; its most famous member is Rika Pap who can magically transmute herself into money. No one knows the exact origin of these Redskins who shine like stardust from the Puszta.
On their raids, these new Huns occupy gray city squares, dark stages, empty backyards and convert them into switching points of movement. They ride on wild radio waves through border fences, construct their yurts from old election boards on the squares, and cultivate ritual meetings with the residents there. In their theater shows, they grind the ideas and people they’ve encountered into radio waves and paprika.
Now at last, the Pap-penheimers come to the LOFFT. What awaits us is written in glowing red pepper fairy tales. There are rumors that their weapons are getting sharper and their attacks are recently not just of theatrical kind. We are excited and fear for our reputable skin. They are numerous. They are everywhere.

In the frame of Into the City / Wiener Festwochen, Pneuma Szöv. and Mobile Albania (DE) opened an action room in Morzinplatz Wien. A vestibule of history, a vestibule of stories, a vestibule of possibilities and impossibilities. Past, present and future forms of resistance are explored, playacted, linked, reflected upon. In the course of the action, the inventory of the vestibule emerges from the inspirations of the past brought into the present: a story by Margarethe Schütte-Lihotzky about toilet bowl singers in prison; a speech about the state by Ilse Aichinger; handbills denouncing the Second Wold War; hiding as a method of practical resistance; the creation of camouflaged writings; telling stories in a Mobile Albanian tee room; chalk TV…
Vorzimmer functioned as an art mediation station in between the inside-exhibition about the former Gestapo headquarter and its past to passers-by and local inhabitants and open a dialogue with them about the topic. The focus of the project was moments of resistance connected to the local Gestapo-history that can be inspiring and connected to today’s resistant movements.
Formats: big interactive, informative wall collage, a presence over two weeks, public rehearsals and a performative closing “ghost hour”, where the results of the research were shown.

The homeless giant squirrel Mokus Maxi became a candidate for mayor in the 8th district of Budapest. An artistic campain in the year of local elections in Hungary. Maxi was competing with the actual mayor Máté Kocsis representing an avantgarde of criminalizing homeless people and establishing the biggest
surveillance system in Hungary. One of Maxi’s idols and family members is Antanas Mockus, former mayor of Bogota. The campaign focused on the question what tasks a mayor should or could have.
“I am the homeless captain Mókus Maxi (Macky Squirrel) and a Giant Squirrel travelling in the 8th district in Budapest. I
started my campaign for the local election in autumn where I wanna win the Mayor election in the 8th sea. One of my idols
and family members is Antanas Mockus, former mayor of Bogota. With my golden shopping car I travel through the 8th district
and meet people who help me to find out what I can do as a mayor. I ask myself if we still need new mayors, or if I should
encourage everybody to become a new mayor.
I have two aims found so far:
Adó helyett Odút! (A refuge instead of tax!)
Ellenörzés helyett bizalmat (Trust instead of surveillance!)
As the local government here is a master of disappearance: they make disappear homeless people from city space, benches,
public sphere, food distribution, my aim is at the moment also to make disappear the disappearance.
Let’s come together in alternative news channels and make space for a new squirrel economy.

Belgrádból, Budapestről, Ljubljanából, Gießenből és Lipcséből érkezve A Federation of Urban Imagination elfoglalta terét Lipcse egy élettelen negyedében szeptember 1. és 6. között. Művészek és urbanisták – Magyarországról, Szlovéniából, Szerbiából,Németországból – lipcsei barátaikkal együtt közös(ségi) teret alakítottak ki a Huygensplatz-on.
A hatalmas munkaügyi központtal és a bezárt Kino Olimpia mozival övezett, újonnan felújított tér volt a központja az egyhetes utcafantáziának. Nemzetközi munkáskonyha, utcai mozi, rádió-performansz, zöldítési akció töltötte meg új élettel a nagy beruházások és költséges felújítások után is üresen álló a teret.
A Federation of Urban Imagination művészeti, performatív és várostervezési módszereket ötvözve hozza létre transzeurópai vándor-városát, így teremtve teret a köztéren új párbeszédeknek és találkozásoknak.

Új munkanap a választások után. A győztes Pap Család bevonul a Paplamentbe és megalakítja nomád kormányát. A klán tiszteletbeli vezetője, Pap Rika bemutatja az új minisztereket, köztük Polly Poloskát, aki a súlyos népegészségügyi problémák megoldási lehetőségeit és egy új mobilwc-hálózat tervét vitatja meg stúdióvendégeivel. A Pap Család, mely a Nyolcadik Tengeren már jelentős ismertségre tett szert különleges társadalmi berendezkedésével és paprikaporon alapuló cserekereskedelmével, most elhagyja szűkebb pátriáját és transzlokális pozíciókat foglal el. A Trafó Kontra Klubjából sugároz élő adást és a Tilos Rádió hullámain jelenti be az új időszámítás kezdetét.
A Pneuma Szöv. budapesti nyitott hálózat és a német Mobile Albania kollektíva élő rádiószínháza először Lipcsében, majd tavaly decemberben Budapesten mutatkozott be Radio RŐT néven. Az élőben megtekinthető és rádión is követhető nomád adás mostantól rendszeresen jelentkezik majd Budapest különböző helyszíneiről és rádióállomásairól. Az adást szerkesztő és vezető Pap Család (olykor ld. még Pappenheimer Família) magyar, hun és mobilalbán művészekből áll, akik saját identitásukat és előadóművészi hitelességüket kockára téve kísérleteznek és a rádió és a színház műfajaival.
Jelmondatuk: Országomat egy szamárért!
A projekt a 20 forintos operett c. német-magyar együttműködés része, mely 2012 óta kutatja és alakítja a köztereket Budapesten és Lipcsében.

2013. december 6-án mikulás napi adással mutatkozott be Budapest új rádiószínháza, a Radio RŐT. A nomád rádióműsor rendszeresen jelentkezik Budapest különböző helyszíneiről és rádióállomásairól. Az adást szerkesztő és vezető Pap Család (olykor ld. még Pappenheimer Família) magyar, hun és mobilalbán művészekből áll, territóriumok és identitások határain vándorol és ennek abszurditását kutatja. A folyamatosan gyarapodó, államon túli alakulat különleges gazdasági és társadalmi szisztémát gyakorol: pirospaprikával folytat cserekereskedelmet és saját Paplamentjében vitatja meg a jelenkori nacionalizmusok helyzetét, a társadalmi határok kérdéseit, a köztereket uraló Zártószellemek megszelídítésének lehetőségeit.

Az adás után nyilvános közkonyhát szerveztünk, ahol mindenki megkóstolhatta a Pap Család törzsi specialitásait.

In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of Hungarians who feel like leaving their
homeland behind. The most popular venues for voluntary exile are London and Berlin, where almost the
populations of a middle-size Hungarian town have settled. What can you do, if you do not feel at home
any more in your homeland?
Can you create a new home in a strange country, can you transfer all that you loved to have at home into
this new place, and even recreate what has already been lost back in your fatherland?
Paplament I. is an artistic research in the city space of Leipzig ending with a temporary occupation of
the local Radio BLAU with live radio performances. Out of the abandoned posters of the parliamentary
elections of Germany we built up a seasonal nomadic hut on the Lindenauer Markt. From this radio studio
we broadcasted live performative programs by converting Radio BLAU into Radio ROT.
This format was transferred back to Budapest as Radio RÖT by occupying Tilos Radio and Fuga Radio.

A Vándorló utcaegyetem c. nemzetközi színházi együttműködés keretében Vass Imre koreográfus és Sarah Günther performanszművész (Mobile Albania, Pneuma Szöv.) 6 napos utazásra hívják az érdeklődőket Budapest Nyolcadik kerületében.
A sétaworkshop során csoporttestként utazunk át Józsefvároson és különböző köztereken időzünk el. Milyen ez a hétköznapit átszelő útonlevés? Mi történik az utazás során? Hogyan hat a város tere, az épített környezet, a többi járókelő viselkedése testünkre, tudatunkra és csoportmozgásunkra? Hogyan tudjuk másképp látni és használni a teret?
A séták során a csoportban való gondolkodás különböző technikáit és az önalkotmányozás mobilalbán módszerét fogjuk használni. Miközben átvágunk a Nyolcadik tengeren, megvizsgáljuk testrészeink, egymás teste és a közterek viszonyát és közösen fogalmazzuk át a térképet.
A workshop mindenki számára nyitott.
